Not comparable with 60 years ago though, I used to get a great signal from Radio City 299 listening in Feltham in the 60's. They used what, a couple of hundred watts?
The problem now is the noise on everything 30MHz down. And you la-di-da car owners, well boo-hoo try it on a No.36 electric bus.
