Hi Flashback, people have got used to super quality on line & DAB - (If your getting a good signal, it gurgles if not!)
MW is a very different quality beast - narrow bandwidth & prone to local interference - but on the plus side, the signal travels a LOT further, over the horizon & after dark it can be very much further & with good aerial equipment at the receiving site - the Northern Ireland SDR a prime example.
It the car, it's unbeatable.
