Like you, I hope OFCOM sees the strength of the popularity of Caroline after this record fund raising weekend, & does permit a power increase, but I'm not holding my breath for it. 10KW will probably the best that can be expected & is affordable with the cost of power- perhaps a compromise can be reached, to reduce the power after dark when there is no Solar power & less listeners in all probability. The Sky wave will take the signal further after dark of course.
I just hope the King Charles death mix up, has not blotted Caroline's copybook.
