In other words Stephen, a bit more power from Orford would help.
I have reason to believe that will happen in time, but OFCOM will not be rushed.
As the move to fibre to home increases, the overhead phone noise will gradually reduce. But Some overhead power lines are very noisy on MW - Perhaps inverter controlled motors connected to them?
This is often near big farms in the country.
