I think Mark is asking for a clearer Long wave Freq. Hopefully towards the High freq. end of LW
His main problem may be Soil type, because effectively Soil is in Series with Antenna, so usually
it's the point where the Lossy soil, looses lots of the power fed in.

To cut a long story short, lets just say, some of the people involved with the CFA, were....
"Less than honest"......My thoughts are... The working high power CFA's in Egypt, had huge amount
of metal underneath the CFA, and it seems that vertical current flow in this, is what makes it work
not so much, the huge splayed out capacity hat at the top....
Even the Two Test sites, done in the UK, especially the one built on the Isle of Mann, had enough
metalwork underneath it, to start a large Scaffolding firm
We have a History in the UK, of doing Radio related things, totally the wrong way...Such as...
In the 60's, we had the Police comms. on 98 megs in the FM band...
Water companies used Mobile TX using 105-106 Megs... etc
