Suppose Musicmann 279 had come on air in the summer of 2006 and didn't fold afer a short time, I would imagine they would have joined DAB/DAB+ — either through Sound Digital’s second national commercial multiplex in 2016 or through a chain of those small-scale multiplexes. They would thus have migrated their listeners to digital and closed LW years ago. Indeed, the CFA wouldn't have had much of a life expectancy after a couple of harsh winters in the Irish Sea, would it?
