Elsewhere on this thread, someone with a peripheral involvement with Caroline stated that Neil was the only disaffected former Caroline presenter and others fully supported PM.... Categorically that is not true! PM is an exasperating individual to try to work with. So many over the years found that the biggest battle in trying to take the station forward was not officialdom but with PM.
I have no interest in dredging up old arguments, but a casual look back at Caroline's history will show periodic mass walk outs. I can think of a few, the most recent leading to the setting up of Quasar.
Following a mass exodus eventually a new core team emerges who work well together. It is sadly only a matter of time before that new team finds itself in the same impossible position of their predecessors. Undermined by the guy they are supposedly working for.
Even some of his unquestioning followers on here have found themselves on the receiving end of one of his periodic outbursts and yet he is still regarded as some kind of folk hero.
