Rod, no DAB multiplexes in the UK or anywhere in Europe, transmit on 235 MHz. As for "Digital Listeners" anyone listening to DAB/DAB+ or online streaming are listening to audio delivered digitally, so lumping them together under that term is one way of looking at it.
As for DAB being "the solution to a problem, that does not exist", it was never marketed as a "Solution" but rather as an alternative. An alternative that if it had been left as intended would have been superior to stereo FM. Unfortunately it was exploited by the industry for profit.
