Re: Trial London DAB Problems

Dont think so Rod, My survey was very quick and dirty. I just took the aerial off the vauxhall and drove around the route which keeps roughly the same distance from the array as one drives around it noting the vauxhall sig strength measurements which as it happens are calibrated quite accurately in dB . At one point i found myself driving around the edge of a field in order to keep the same distance from the array and I tried to avoid taking any measurements in the proximity of overhead wires as these do significantly alter the readings so while the results may not be up to ofcom standards they did give a representative idea of what might be happening but quite how you model that in eznec i dont know without some idea of how those disconnected towers are still somehow coupling to earth and therefore have a net current flowing.
