What amazes me, with even some quite larger DAB portables, There is No External Aerial Socket
Just the Telescopic, Think I saw one set though, where the telescopic plugged into a socket
And Car DAB sets, with aerial, stuck on inside of windscreen, needs a foot long quarter wave outside

Does anyone remember?
A Really Early London Traffic warning system, right down the Low freq. end of MW AM ?
there were 4x TX, each came on with it's announcement, then the next etc
Could hear all 4 sites, up here in Northamptonshire

I had an IF strip, out of a scrap set, retuned it from 470kc to what they used
can't remember exact Freq, but was right down the Low end, poss even just out of MW?
