I did hear Laser in the evening in Dublin in 1984.There was of course a lot of co channel from 567 Khz, but I could hear it nevertheless on the Sony portable.

As regards the 963 signal from The Ross, when driving into London on the Westway, it would begin to fade coming along the Marylebone Road, and disappeared almost completely going into the underpass by Capital Radio. Laser on the other hand, held up throughout even in the underpass.
