LASER's reported 8kHz r/f bandwidth had likely caused tuning difficulty against the incoming RTE 567kHz @ 500kW with excellent reception recorded at the GAA's Gaelic ground in Ruislip near A40(E) LASER had good coverage to Oxford through to Isle of Wight. I doubt there was ANY communication with Irish supporters, only RTE complaining to ITU.
