Steve, I must say that I was devastated to hear about Gladys, your local post mistress, and the Bull Mastiff, please wish them both a speedy recovery. I personally think that you are being most unfair on me as I was just trying to do my Christian duty in returning property to its rightful owners! I didn’t think you’d want me putting such items, as lost property in the hands of W.P.C. Polly Goodbody. I must say if they belong to older ladies I quite like the cut of their jib, very racy!
In my defence I have to say that our local post person here in Dragons Green, one Spiro, the whistling Welsh postman, can be a touch ham fisted. I had secured the packing to the best of my ability with Sticky Backed Plastic as advertised on the BBC
