Ofcom does not grant terrestrial broadcast licences (AM, FM, or DAB) to vessels at sea.
Under the Marine Broadcasting Offences Act, it is an explicit criminal offence to broadcast from a vessel within UK territorial waters, or for any UK citizen or business to sustain, advertise with, or supply such an operation.
