Just to clear up one very important point, I am not Paul Graham, the radio consultant, and I have no connection with him or with the previous proposal you refer to.

My involvement in this project is entirely separate from anything that may have been discussed or proposed previously.

As for the Lightship project, this is not a “non story” based on spotting a vessel for sale on Apollo Duck. The project is genuine, is being actively developed, and has investors involved.

There has been considerable work undertaken behind the scenes, and there are serious people committed to making the project happen.

Obviously, until everything is finalised, there are aspects that cannot be discussed publicly. But I can assure you that this is not simply an idea that has been picked up from seeing a Lightship advertised for sale.

I have viewed the ship with a invester and a offer has been made. Im sure Apollo Duck would not offer for us to return after checking our credentials if they thought we was wasting thier time.

I’m happy to have a sensible discussion about the project, but I think it is important that the facts are established before assumptions are made or comparisons are drawn with something that happened years ago.
