@Johnny B. I am still a Caroline listener, not all the time, but it does take up some 30% of my listening.
When in the office, it is on my DAB Radio most days as it has an excellent signal in Holborn and being on the 7th Floor I get good reception. I don't have any loyalty to any stations, but when I come across something I want to support I do.
Caroline and Sunshine Radio online are my stations of choice, but will wander around the dial to Mi Soul, Classic FM, LBC, Talksport, BBC Five Live and the huge amount of oldies stations that proliferate the dial.
What I was saying was I would tend to listen to Caroline in the car if they had some presences in the East London Essex area on DAB as I stated many times, Caroline introduced me over the years to many artists during my formative years in the 70's to bands that were not heard on Radio One and the commercial channels. Therefore I would be disappointed if they replaced the main Album service with Flashback. To be fair they can do what they like with 648khz I am no longer the anorak I was in the past, but to be fair that was another life that I enjoyed, but sadly cannot return to and to be honest I'm not sure I would want to if offered. I am very happy with how life is now, just wish there were less aches and pains and less visible signs of aging with the vehicle I'm housed in
