It’s purely a personal thing with DAB, many of my journeys are no more than 5 to 6 miles covering an urban area. I find for these journeys I’m listening to All Hit Radio or Radio Xtra where’s I would have carried on listening from my Alexa in the kitchen, but faffing with my phone or listening to static am my patience is gone.
I’m no longer the anorak of my youth. I want quality music delivered in reasonable quality, or I end up listening to Virgin on slightly longer journeys in urban areas
