Sorry STx 😔 I missed your post regarding electrical noise and your exactly right about the noise floor increasing 😲 but I always check signal strength in quite areas between fair to good reception of 648Khz , unfortunately Caroline's signal doesn't penetrate like the first few year's 😞 Walter
