The key these days is intereactivity. You get that by doing your own online streaming (like Garry) or by choosing your own preferences, such as found on YouTube and Spotify set to play your preferred output. Anything else is being abandoned. Back in the 60's no one could have predicted there will be no such thing as radio broadcasting by 2030. Most of the below VHF radio spectrum will become disused UNLESS another "invention" eliminates the need for the internet to need any physical connected infrastructure. Maybe Elon Musk's Starlink could achieve that as it advances. I think by 2040, broadcasting will be totally unrecognisable by today's public.
