Just checking out the D-808 radio.. As far s FM goes it appears to only have WFM - shame it doesn't have NB-FM 25 kHz type channels .. mind you, it only goes up to 137 mHz (AM Air Band).

Still, if you're going to operate around the 77 mHz part of the spectrum with W-FM then this received could be just the one.

I still like narrowband 16KOF3E / 25 kHz channel which isn't HiFi
but has a certain LoFi comms grade quality about it..
