I noticed that 1107 KHZ now only has a very weak signal at my location which I think is the Boston relay as that previously beat with Lydd in Kent which was among those turned off. Less nightime fading on both 1053 and 1089 KHZ with far less transmitters on the same channels so coverage is arguably better in some cases. They will all be gone within a year now just like Absolute radio was when it got to this stage. Dozens of empty channels on MW by day at my location and a large amount still silent at night too. Mainly Spanish stations heard after dark below 800 KHZ but mostly not that strong. MW in the UK is predominately just a few local Asian stations now.
