I was listening to a 40m ham out in the wet west, and he was talking about something called "density" for waterproofing connections...... Will have to look that up and see what it is.....

BTW I don't really need extra LNBs or dishes. But some time ago I couldn't get someones older HD box to work for free to air stuff on a dish I put up for them. Odd I thought, as the one I used had been working I was sure.....
Took another dish up and got the free to air stuff going no problem.....

But never really sussed it might require a different LNB until a recentattempt to connect to a dish already up on yl's daughters new house. No signal on an old hd box. But that dish looked fairly new..... So now I know for sure...tnx.........
