except people. These weapons were only available to the military, not the average law abiding citizen. I feel they need to be removed from the market for the average Joe. In the wrong hands we have seen over and over what they will do and they will get into the wrong hands no matter what. I feel we need to remove them. So I respectfully disagree.

Arming teachers is asinine. That school had one armed man and then 3 additional armed officers that came and none of them would go inside BECAUSE the gun man had an AUTOMATIC weapon and they hand a hand pistol. No comparison.

Assault weapons are used for combat. IMHO
