….film/ TV: if it captures my interest then I’m happy to do a bit of digging and find out who these people were, what the true story was (or *truths*, plural), read some more and get a whole new perspective on that little blip in space and time. I’m not saying it’s elevating or it will end hunger but I like having a bit of knowledge about something that happened, what its ramifications were to those involved and the results.
So, yes, I have the Swans book on order and will try to find the Esquire article to read some Capote myself (I’ve never read In Cold Blood or other works) and will finish the series enjoying the visuals.
