...to not really spend much time building the friendships and get almost immediately to the betraying and FEUDing.
I also think the marketing gave the impression that this would be, like, a deliciously gossipy fun feud romp, but instead it seems to be a super-tragic dramatization of friends (or "friends") really hurting the f*ck out of each other, which...yeah. Not the same thing.
