I ran to get the Esquire with La Cote Basque and was both appalled and mesmerizied.I knew who he was writing about. And the man really could write. But of course as I matured I realized how really sad the whole thing was. I've read the book this was based on and liked it. Some of the actresses are hard to put to the person ( Demi Moore and Chloe Sevigny and Molly Ringwald) And it's a little too sad. The fashions and sets are amazing and the juxtaposition between the east coast and west coast dinner was great. I suppose like every Marilyn Monroe bio I read I hope for a better ending. Cool meeting CZ Guest Mike. You would know, then , about her personality.
