Actually the Dutch didn’t return all the records! As the late Dave Foster would have confirmed, none of the Autographed “Beatles, Paul McCartney, Linda McCartney” LP records all donated to the ship in 1983 directly from Paul and Linda were ever returned. Someone from the Dutch Authorities in Holland still has all of those records!
James Murphy walked around the ship touting his pistol which I believe ITN caught him from their helicopter waving the pistol around on the deck. Sadly that footage never went to air as the Marchoness disaster became the main news story on all TV and radio channels!
Jim Murphy claimed that the Ross Revenge was not registered, this was not true. It has been discovered that the late Silas Oates previous owner of the Ross Revenge never cancelled his registration of the Ross with Lloyds of London which his son Gary Oates can confirm with evidence that the registration was still valid. Gary said he expected the DTI to contact Silas and maybe charge him but that never happened.
Finally I believe James Murphy knocked Peter Chicago out and apparently also hit 2 other Caroline DJ’s.
