How many times did Starmers spin doctors tell him to say ' hard working families ' every time he opened his mouth ? Then later changed that to' working at pace ' and then to 'smash the gangs ' None of it had any substance.
Ronan had everyone say 'Grothan Steamship' and 'Panama' so many times that it became a mantra.And that was fine until someone actually checked.
He also delighted in providing a down payment to start an arrangement and then not paying any more.
A marine mortgage was taken out to finish Revenge but once the ship was in international waters the payments stopped. When we were trying to unravel ownership from about 2012 we found that $650.000 was still owed to MRK Marine Finance.
So as for Grothan I never met anyone actually from that company. When one Zozimo Guardia flew in from Panama carrying what was probably a false registration certificate I thought he was a Grothan director, but he was from Arze & Guardia, a law firm.
When the Dutch were considering a raid, had Grothan been a robustly registered and fully paid up company of seven years standing and if there was a paper trail of seven years of consecutive registration fees having been paid, Pananma may not have said that they had no objection.
It may have helped if Chicago had not put World Mission Radio on a SW distress frequency thus giving cause. When I contacted Arze & Guardia many years later they said they had no trace of Grothan and had given up looking even though they were owed money. Ronan cleverly avoided paying for some things and then lost everything.
So I would drop the faux outrage and think of it as an own goal.
