I'm surprised nobody comes up with the anniversary (37 years ago already!) of the raid on the Ross Revenge... (August 19th 1989). It's etched in my memory because it was the end of Caroline as a free offshore station. Although the station soldiered on for another year, it killed the station off... Not that I'm not happy with 648 AM and that Caroline is still there. But I just wonder: Did we forget what happened? To me it's just like the beginning of a war.
