They make it work in the Netherlands. Doesn't cost much to run a 100W station but I fear by the time one makes the transition from 4kW to 10kW one is very much into the law of diminishing returns. Would a station that embarked on such a trajectory get 2.5 X the listeners ?. I doubt it.
