maybe so but the thought is, if you are running on MW there are plenty clear of clearish channels nowadays, like 1368 for eg is clear now since the UK left the freq and manx is more or less alone.....

makes all the differenc to lower power pirates as well, eg the weekend stations on 1233, 1440, 1206, 1494, 1512 etc etc... Getting heard far and wide..
