I never appointed myself as an archivist or historian but simply from the passage of time I guess I know the subject. Also being popular is not my major concern.I just state things as I see them with such evidence as I have.

In the case of Maurice Cole I think he chose the surname Everett after an actor he much admired. I understand that it was Dave Cash who said on seeing him ' you look like a Kenny to me ' And so it was.
Concerning Keith Skues, Ronan told me the story that Skues had come from B.F.B.S where he was in trouble for making all his links into rhymimg couplets and incessantly name checking himself.

But he thought he could still get away with this and was mid way through a link along the lines of ' come now Madam please don't snooze ' intending to make the next line end with his name when the boss walked in. He had only moments to replace Keith Skues with ' Cardboard Shoes '.

Ronan and maybe Chris Moore browbeat Skues for some hours to drop the rhymes and the DJ patter and just talk like a normal human being. Eventually they thought they had achieved a result and that Skues could leave.

He departed but then put his head around the door again saying :

Ta ta, caiou, Bye for now '
