with an announced wavelength of 290 metres! Surely it was blindingly obvious that 290m was wrong? as it was between the two BBC R1 frequencies which had been widely promoted as 275 and 285m ! (So how could 290 be between 275 and 285!?). FFS
Think about it! Caroline on 259 was actually 1187 kHz (252.7 metres) Radio West used the slogan the mighty 290. It was no big deal.
