I built a full-size aerial loop when I was 14 in an attempt to overcome the jamming of RNI. I now have one of those Tecsun loops.
The RFI here seems to reduce slightly when I switch off the mains. There is a residual high level of noise, but the RFI does not reduce much as I walk away from the house. There are no nearby overhead cables or masts (except for the low-powered water mast).
I need to check further for interference from rogue devices.
I have ordered one of those miracle Qodosen AM only receivers from Amazon, and a corresponding loop aerial from Bangood. My RFI investigations will continue.
