Yes, David, it did sink and one of the cranes fell on to the Carrier flight deck as it tilted causing damage which required a trip to a more southerly port for repairs. Admiral Kuznetsov returned to here usual home port of Murmansk when repairs had been completed. Both voyages were reported in the British Press and it was noted that the Royal Navy and the RAF had responded to her circumnavigation of the British Isles. The Drydock was salvaged and is probably serviceable once more. I did produce a model of the Drydock with just one corner above water for anyone who wanted to make a diorama of the sinking!
