Perhaps you and Alex could give archaeologically based context explaining how this verse somehow doesn't actually form part of the Church's tradition on homosexual acts, which 'has always declared them 'intrinsically disordered"'CCC 2357, closing the sexual act, as they do, to the gift of life.
You don't have a problem with homosexual acts, so why not just acknowledge it, admit we don't share a catholic faith on this and move on, rather than conduct these tedious, logistically gymnastic, non-catholic discussions on biblical interpretation, act and actor etc.
