You're overestimating how I feel in response to your wild assertions, Tony. 'Shirty' would be taking them far too seriously.
In truth, as I alluded to, it says more about you than me especially given your all too brief -- the opposite of 'tireless', if you will -- foray into picking out the splinter of ad hominem in my eye and ignoring the plank in your, and others, eyes.

Trouble is the teachings are, at best, not 'recieved' by most Catholics.
Is this because most Catholics deserve to dismissive assertions you direct towards me? I don't think so! In general, they see the teaching as, at best, irrelevant and, at worst, incoherant, offensive and out of touch with reality.
IMHO of course!
And, yes, I'm with them! I also happen to believe that I'm not required to believe in doctrines that I (and others) find irrelevant, incoherant, offensive and out of touch.
