This is a chattering/nattering forum, it never achieves anything but that is not its purpose.
The contributors never actually achieve anything.
The title has to hark back to past events, mostly long past, as there is no Pirate Radio activity of much significance left.
The one time operators now run web streams under the name of stations that closed up to 60 years ago.
If I started a stream that asked ' Could Garry Stevens Start A Pirate Station On The Moon ' you can be sure that some would comment on the possibility.
In the matter under discussion that fact the Shaun never paid up and that Paul was a bit useless has not scarred and traumatised me. It just popped in to my memory due to your post and I described these memories.
There was accuracy as Steve told me how Shaun would behave, which he did exactly as predicted. The e mail I was sent after I sought payment was described as bluster as it was just that i.e ' This is the name of my bank and the account number and the cheque number and the date it was written '. But of course it was never sent and thus never arrived. It matters little.
You were not an investor as you say. Investment assumes a return on the investment which you did not expect. You just donated your few hundred and I guess Shaun kept it or spent it.
The privacy of your surname, or 'alais ' as you put it is your business but can you really attribute this need to have been or maybe having been a land based pirate 46 years ago.
