I had no previous grievance with Shaun. Never heard of the man beforehand. Steve Masters told me that it was Shauns habit to offer payment for something provided but to bluster and distract and protest when payment was sought. That is exactly what happened and was the first and last time I dealt with him. Steve's warning was 100% correct and I was not writing about a rumour but a factual account of what happened. Shaun just wanted to blag a bit of airtime for free. No big deal.
As for Paul Graham, I further remember that with a pal I agreed to take him and his other business colleagues out to view the estuary forts. The pal and I went to our motor boat at Leigh, having driven from London and brought it to a jetty. And waited.
When no passengers arrived I found a pay phone and called Paul who said ' Oh yeah, we overslept '. The train fare recollection was trivia but just indicative of a 'consultant ' who arranges a business meeting without an means of actually getting there or returning.
None of it matters aside from five minutes of my fingers on a keyboard.
But as the saying goes ' Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach. And then there are consultants '.
The Steve Masters story had to do with a blackmail attempt so obviously I will not say more.

You seem to have historic memories over and above seeking a recording. Of the two names I wonder which one you are.
