To be honest I have to say I agree David sadly its long been over for LW, and sadly MW too now, just simply go into Halfords or similar and look at the stock of in car audio / radios and sadly MW is no longer a feature in such. LW disappeared a few years ago. The same with Radios the vast majority again don't Have LW / MW in fact a some don't even have FM although you can still find many that do have FM at the moment not sure how long for though possibly no more than 20yrs or so. Old guys like us will always try to listen to MW purely because digital only is Alien to some of us. But it has to be remembered that the buying power belongs to the much younger generation so radio stations will not have any great interest in any form of AM outlet. I truly wish these things were not so but sadly they are. its no longer our world and will pretty much be all but forgotten in 15 / 20 years and will unfortunately completely die with us.
