TRAM300L was commissioned & put into service July 2007 & scrapped original 1989 Varian Associates twin 250kW Tx, after less than 18 years service.
The land 25hectares had to be re-instated was one of eleven pre-conditions RTE t/a Radio Tara & CLT Luxembourg were to comply with. Since Meath county council had no definate purpose for the Tx hall
the condition or existence of 300kW transmitter is
unknown, since demolition tender was for Tullamore
