Going rate for a licence for a top 10 hit to K Tel in 1975 was 4K.
Was one of my jobs at BC Charisma back then as promotions and marketing manager.
From memory we had 3 top 10 hits that year 2 reggae Ken Boothe and John Holt and 1 Genesis.
