"This is my radio station. The frequency is a big issue and to those who have voiced frustration at 252 I can only say I have battled for months to get a clear channel. The GE75 plan still stands to this day. I have provisionally up to 300kW on this frequency so I’ve stuck to it as if I did operate on another channel I’m only allowed 1kW which is not enough.
Future plans are to try to get the ITU to allow a clear channel and run 50kW.
The transmitter is an old MW 1kW transmitter that is being converted by a radio friend of mine. We are looking at a giant loop to transmit
|||||and will be testing with a 600m wire also (although there is too much loss in the wire)......
(Does he mean 600 Metres wire??)|||||||
I’m in talks with a land owner to relocate the antenna and build a Marconi T type but this will have to wait until later.
I had to start somewhere so it’s starting small. There was a rush to secure my radio stations future and get it established.
