iused 2 piecesof wood and a clamp to hold each end in turn and a junior hacksaw for the cutting, just be carefull and gentle on the stern and as you reach the centre from each end, --no contact with sides so no chance of damage! a spacr in the hull will avoid andy bending, end in places sawing at an angle so only one side is cut can help
