As far as I can see HMS Plover spent WWII in home waters, essentially laying mines off the East coast, and also in the SW Approaches.

I am doubtful that she would have been camouflaged for these duties: an overall mid or dark grey seems sensible.

(She was a much loved ship and only went for scrap in 1969. I saw her at Great Yarmouth in May 1967, just before she decommissioned).
