I cried all weekend and we felt despair. Today Bill had a procedure to biopsy his lymph nodes. The Lord heard our prayers and all nodes were negative! The chance that the liver is positive is very slim. It would use the lymphatic system to spread. She wants him to have an MRI of the liver and brain. Nothing showed on the PET in the brain but she wants to be thorough. So he will still undergo removal of his upper left lobe (lobectomy) on 8/24. Please keep him in your prayers. Having cancer is never anything any of us want but early detection is still key to beating it. Once removed if margins are clean he will not require any chemotherapy.
