4 But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, 5 that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) 6 For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. 7 So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus. ~ Ephesians 2
Jesus understood that He and His apostles would soon be persecuted for daring to be different. To calm their fears, Jesus offered encouragement with a willingness to teach His listeners that in the eyes of The Father they were worthy to be invited into fellowship with The Father.
Jesus wanted His friends to understand that He saw beyond their imperfections, sins, and fears appreciating their human qualities no matter what anyone else thought.
Tangible value is in the eye of the beholder, and The Christ is the Beholder of us all. Our value makes us precious to God, when He invites us to become His outreach into the lives of those He desires to assist, when their needs cry out to Him for help.
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. ~ Ephesians 2:10

Peace to all,
The eyes of the father are in the Son, and we are brothers and sisters of Christ in the new Flesh which manefests through the Power of the Holy Spirit, teh Power of the Son in the Soul, which allows US to see God, "Our Father" in Heaven.
