~ Ephesians 2
Jesus understood that He and His apostles would soon be persecuted for daring to be different. To calm their fears, Jesus offered encouragement with a willingness to teach His listeners that in the eyes of The Father they were worthy to be invited into fellowship with The Father.
Jesus wanted His friends to understand that He saw beyond their imperfections, sins, and fears appreciating their human qualities no matter what anyone else thought.
Tangible value is in the eye of the beholder, and The Christ is the Beholder of us all. Our value makes us precious to God, when He invites us to become His outreach into the lives of those He desires to assist, when their needs cry out to Him for help.
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. ~ Ephesians 2:10
