I agree, Alex. I support Folau's right to free speech too!
I also support Folau's right to freely enter into a contract and for his employers and sponsors to offer contracts.
Part of that contract was for Folau to not engage in the kind of conduct that was the subject of dispute previously.
He went against that agreement.
His employer therefore has the right, under the terms of their agreement to sack Folau from the contract.
He can then exercise his right to free speech as he so pleases.
