By threatening eternal damnation? How's that working out?
Folau has benefited from system that has key players as part of the 'brand' of the code he's played for. He's done it with both codes of rugby and AFL and, each time, has reaped the personal rewards.
Being part of that 'brand' has expectations ... called contracts ... that players sign.
Folau has been part of that system ... a system of representation ... for the best part of a decade.
I would admire him if he stated his case and faced up to the consequences, but that's not good enough for him.
He wants to change the terms of his contract after he signed it and after he had one warning.
Not only that, he wants other individuals to fund him.
The guy's a rank, unprincipled, hypocrite.
